I'm a biomedical engineering professor at MSOE, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I primarily teach bio-transport and biomaterials courses, but also teach sensors, actuators and interfaces course and several labs involving electronics. I hold B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering and an M.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering. All from The Ohio State University. My professional interests include mathematical modeling of medical devices and processes (particularly models involving the solutions of systems of ODE's and PDE's). I’m also interested in biomedical applications of mass, heat, and momentum transfer (particularly adsorption, ion exchange and permeation processes) and biomaterials (with an emphasis on polymers, films, adhesives, foams, and emulsions). I have a longstanding interest in engineering entrepreneurship, innovation, and commercialization.
