<p>Creating user page for new user.</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>Dr. Dave Langstaff MIoP, MIET<br /> Senior Lecturer in Physics at Aberystwyth University, Wales, UK<br /> Interested in electronics CAD &amp; Instrumentation in support of physics experiments<br /> <br /> My first degree was in Electronics Engineering from University of Southampton, UK. Following this I worked for the microelectronics group at Southampton University from 1981-1990. In 1990 I moved to the Physics department at Aberystwyth University to develop an integrated, multi-anode readout device for detection of ions in a mass spectrometer. The work was extended to cover electron spectroscopy in 2000. Since the end of that project I have worked on the teaching staff of the department, involved with variousresearch projects. I am currently working on an Infra-red spectrometer fro planetary geology.</div>
