Studied electronics informally for 50 years. Audio and analog signal processing designer. Always did it on a breadboard/prototypes. All the young guys do it in spice first. Have never learned spice and figure it's time! I want to design a dome filter rectifier sidechain, and I'm not a math guy. Designing it on a breadboard and trying to tweak it on a scope just doesn't seem realistic!
