Graduated in 1978 as Electronic Engineer at the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico, with emphasis in Audio and Acoustics. Worked from 1978 to 1992 as product engineer at several components manufacturing companies, mainly on loudspeakers for radio and TV sets and hifi systems. Later, from 1993 to 2017, I worked as a metrologist at the National Center of Metrology of Mexico, specialized on radiation thermometry, but keeping my interest on Audio. Now retired but giving consultancy on thermometers calibrations and trying to realize my dream on design and build a two-way loudspeaker system with active crossover filters, not the one only based on the cutoff frequencies but also regarding the frequency response of the units (woofer and tweeters). In this task I’m sure that LTspice will be a very valuable help.
